Ashes Under Eden
Privacy Policy

Effective September 14, 2026

This policy describes how Arcade Again handles information in Ashes Under Eden, also known during development as Xamos or DVA, and on this policy website.

Offline gameplay and local saves

Single-player and local hotseat play store game progress, battle saves, creature selections, loadouts, settings, and music playback history on your device. Playing these modes does not require an online account. Offline saves are not automatically uploaded by the game.

Optional online multiplayer

If you connect to a multiplayer server, it receives a guest player identifier, display name, authentication information, and the game information needed to operate multiplayer. This can include a submitted profile, room membership, matchmaking requests, creature selections, battle commands, match events and results, co-op progress, and timestamps. Your device stores the connection credentials and pending actions for reconnection; the server stores a hash of your authentication token.

This information supports matchmaking, shared gameplay, saved online progress, reconnection, and protection against invalid or repeated actions. Other participants receive the information needed to play their match. Your private authentication token is not shared with other players. The server also receives connection information such as your IP address for networking and abuse prevention.

Online features connect to the server address you select. If you use a server operated by someone other than Arcade Again, that operator controls the information it receives and its own privacy and retention practices. Offline play remains available without connecting to a server.

Permissions, advertising, and analytics

The current game uses internet access for optional online features. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or precise device location. The current game does not integrate advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

Support and website visits

If you contact us, we receive the email address and information you provide and use it to respond to your request. Please do not send passwords or authentication tokens. Visiting this website may create hosting logs containing your IP address, browser information, requested pages, and timestamps, used to deliver and secure the website.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Hosting and communications providers may process information needed to operate our services or respond to support requests. We may disclose relevant information when required by law or necessary to investigate abuse and protect users or our services.

Retention and deletion

Local saves remain until you delete them or clear the game's stored data. Uninstalling may remove local data depending on your platform; separately retained saves or backups may need to be deleted separately. Clearing local data does not delete records held by an online server.

Online records can remain after a match ends to support progress and reconnection; the current online service does not provide automatic expiry of all account and match records. For records held by Arcade Again, contact us to request access, correction, or deletion. Include your player identifier and server address if available so we can locate the records and verify the request. We retain information only as needed for the service, support, security, or legal obligations. Requests involving independently operated servers must be directed to their operators.

Security

We use safeguards appropriate to the information handled, including authenticated access to online player records. Public remote multiplayer connections require HTTPS in the current client. Localhost and private-network testing may use unencrypted HTTP. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our online services. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information to us can contact us to request review and deletion.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the game and its services change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision.
